Be the Vortex

samurai-archerIn my youth I practiced Archery, to the point of wining several State and two National championships. It was something that I had natural proclivity.  Like all things you eventually hit difficult parts, where your understanding has to move to the next logical step. At one point I was having a problem with some of the finer points of focus. My mentor at the time was a legend in Archery during the 50’s and 60’s, on one of my visits, his wife gave me a book called the ‘Zen of Archery’. When she gave me the book she told me that it is not just aiming at the target; it is aiming at the center, of the center, of the center, of the center ad infinitum. Most ball sports are somewhat like this you look at how the ball is spinning not at the ball.

When I got home I was excited to read the book ‘The Zen of Archery’ is written from the Japanese perspective of Zen.  The book took me on a journey that still goes on today. There is wisdom in many ancient teachings I just don’t relate to all of them and look to new definitions of universe, physical phenomena and human consciousness; I am a product of my past experiences and Zen concepts sometimes apply.

Recently I had been listening to the latest CD from Abraham. Abraham is talking about how you have to get into the vortex and in—Abraham fashion—there is a contradiction; Abraham later in the CD talks about a vibrational universe that is not outside you but inside. Maybe it is just me but I automatically associate things to this plane, unless you make the distinction and really point it out. I taught English in Asia and it is comical because we teach all these prepositions to new learners yet we can easily make similar mistakes. Saying you have to get into something assumes that you are outside of it. To a native English speaker it is easy to hear what is said, in this regard, and make the distinction and never realize it. The regard I was talking about was get into the vortex which is inside of you going further into the center?

In the book ‘The Zen of Archery’ there is a passage that says “weather you shoot the bow or the bow shoots you it does not matter” (loosely quoted). Shooting the bow becomes a perfect harmony with your world, each shot is a creation.

As I was pondering this quote the idea came to me in a very Zen way, weather you get in the vortex or the vortex gets into you—you must become the vortex a perfect match.

Happy in the knowledge that all is well

happy-elephant-01I have been so busy with manifestations that I have been slow to make a post here and it is my most important blog. What occurred to be today was to try and relate how I have made my recent manifestations. It has been a long dry spell and there have been some ups and downs along the way. So many wonderful things are happening that while I was meditating it was hard to get clear and go to that wonderful place where I have no thoughts, where my inner being kicks in and I start to rock and roll.

The idea here is to recap how this has started and where it has gone. It is always good to realize that each revolution brings a different reality and each reality renders the last reality immaterial. I had studied a lot of mysticism for many years; over 40 years. But I came to a place where everything I had done and all of the material reality that I had created was an anvil on my mind. I tossed all of that and I went on a pilgrimage. I was living in Asia teaching English and visiting temples in India, Thailand, and China. I lived in India, Thailand and Philippines and traveled to all of the wonders of the east.

I returned and wrote a book that details; a books worth of realizations. The short story is that all the revolutions and past realities, of the worlds past as well as our own,  have led us to this place, this time, this reality. What has gone before is holding our now from going faster. If you read my quantum physics posts you will know that I am very much endeared to science proving religion. This idea validates a new understanding of God and how we all—play a part in creation, what you call The Law of Attraction; what I call collapsing the wave function.

Of course, this has only been a small kernel in my now reality. For a year I have been working with all this information and now that I have proof of the wonderful ability of creating in my own space I am gratified. Today as I was meditating I tried to come to an understanding of how I had brought the manifestations to materialize. The one thing I grabbed hold of was, I have been working in my mind with my manifestations as though they had already manifested. Making plans as to what I was going to do, to take the manifestation beyond. In other words it had already happened and now this is what I am going to do with it. Like the sales tactic, where talking about the item that the customer is going to buy as though they already own it. When you get it home just put a coat of wax on that baby. I’m waxing!

Is “No” the right answer?

graffiti_stairsIn a totally inclusive world, or if law of attraction is totally inclusive, does yes or no matter? I guess it depends on what you are affirming and negating, or the feeling that you get from affirming or negating. I was just thinking; if I say no about something that I want, I feel the same as if I said yes—it is true but when I say no it is easier to let go of the thought! I have to say I haven’t thought about this since I saw a video where someone was asking the same thing of Abraham. What the women said was, she was looking for work and was finding all of these road blocks and another opportunity came up that she hadn’t considered and when she took that opportunity she started to get calls, from all kinds of people, offering the previous kind of work she had been searching for.

Abraham’s answer to that was: she had finally let go of the desire or the realization of the vacancy for what she wanted and now it was able for it to enter into her experience. Um…I was thinking about this because I was going to the store on my bicycle; I had thought about an accident and I had negated it and started thinking about some other thoughts to move it out of my vibration, if you will, and sure enough I did something stupid and fell. I was thinking about that again today, while I was planning on going to the store and then I realized that sometimes the “no” works better than the yes.

I have had this experience so many times in my life. When I worked as a carpenter while attending school, this negative effect would happen with great frequency. I would be doing something inadvisable, and as many times as I did it in the past there was never a repercussion, it just worked out okay. Then put someone else in my vicinity and let them see me doing it and they would say something like “you’re going to hit your hand if you do that!” and almost immediately I would hit my hand. It became so frequent, that I would tell my partner to say, if you keep doing that you’re going to make a million dollars. He never cooperated however and I never made a million dollars.

So which came first the chicken or the egg? I don’t want to drift the conversation away from the law of attraction. You could say it was just the power of suggestion! But isn’t the law of attraction just practiced suggestion till it happens. Isn’t “no” a more practiced, final answer, in a totally inclusive world perhaps no is the right answer. What I feel good about after I comb back through this information is,  I will try and say no, so I can let go of the things I want yet still give my attention to them and see what happens…

Allowing Through Day Dreams!

xbrickroadIt is very hard to get a feeling for the allowing stage—every time I hear the explanation of allowing, I don’t connect to the discussion. It probably hits a lot of people just right? To me the explanation is a paradox of active, and passive states. You are told that you have to intend what you want (an active state) then forget about it, (a passive state) —at the same time tell the story about the way you want it to be ( active state), following your bliss jut know and believe that it is on the way—(a passive  state)

Einstein took golf lessons, and the teacher was telling him so many things; after awhile he picked up five golf balls and tossed them to the teacher and said catch. The teacher only caught one of the five golf balls, and Einstein asked him why. He said, that’s all he could catch at one time. Einstein said I can only do one thing at a time too.

Listening to Abraham, talking to individual people, you can—over a period of time—hear so many contradictions that it’s confusing. I understand that everybody is at a different place and needs different words, depending on where they stand, in relationship to where they are going. I have been trying to put this together into “MYSPEAK”, and then I am writing it down. No one actually reads this blog, so it is very cathartic for me to try and publish something and make it very real, for my own understanding. It is like looking at my diary if you are reading this.

What I do, about anything in my life is run a rehearsal, almost all of my successful manifestations have come as a result of rehearsing what I intend to happen. I know a lot of people do the same thing, I have heard people talking, about going into some place and making a complaint. You can listen to them shift from complaining about what they want to do, in the future tense, to first person past tense. Which goes something like: “I said to him” that his employee blah, blah! Sometimes they will correct themselves and say, that’s what I’m going to say! This makes me think that everyone is doing the same thing that I do—actively rehearsing what is going to happen.

The thing is—most of us rehearse when we are talking about a complaint or something that we feel negatively motivated about. Of course the idea is to change to a more positive attitude and move your attention to things you want to manifest. I think Tony Robbins says, people spend more time planning their vacation than their life. I might add, planning their revenges as well!

Things that I want to manifest I have a future rehearsal about, in a dream scape, it starts out as a general or vague daydream, I start to build more complex constructs about the exact details in the dream scape. As I build more definite plans, I get more emotionally charged. I was thinking about a NASA mission when I was writing this—because I was actually listening to the detail, that they were going through, on a space walk. They are so engaged, about everything, there are scripts that have been written in advance of the space walk; right down to the number of turns it takes to tighten a bolt.

I can imagine myself with my sweetheart especially before I met her. I had a lot of daydreams, desires, about the way she would be, how she would act, and what her favorite things to do were. What I also notice is that my physiology is different when I am in this state of daydreaming about something as opposed to wanting something. My brow is not tense my shoulders are relaxed and I am viewing the pictures of this daydream; I am able to steer the vision in detail, without the absence of the manifestation, getting in the way.  I suggest this is the way, to take step one out of the equation, when your doubts and desires are making you feel bad.

To me this is the passive-active method of allowing, I think Abraham calls it the workshop.  That phrase is not really mentioned to many places, it is in one of the books; if you can’t find it leave a comment and I will post it. It is not the type of workshop that Jerry and Ester travel to. It is a place where you work with the finer stuff pre-manifestation.

Do you pray, meditate or intend?

imagesI had a hopeless moment today and I was thinking, I am at a very low point now—there is no other direction, than up. It occurred to me that I should pray! That reminded me about a girlfriend of mine from China; she was raised during the Cultural Revolution, which was a time when religion, in any form, was outlawed. I asked her, if she is in an airplane or a similar situation, and she thinks her life is in jeopardy; does she ask God to save her. She said, “yes of course.” I said,  so you think it is something that we all innately know—that there is a God. She said “no— I just think it is human nature.” It really was an eye-opener to me, to look at the subject from a completely fresh viewpoint. This happened in many ways but it has prompted me to think about the idea of prayer, meditation or intention.

It made me think that praying is done in desperation, when you have no resources or other option. Meditation is a different state and the idea of a walking meditation, is really the coolest of all. I have tried to, do it all the time, and it is really hard. But if you can stay in the now and not let any other thoughts in, except what you are doing now, you have reached a perfect meditation. Like all meditations it is really difficult because of all the intervening people and things that happen in your daily travels.

Abraham has commented on the Buddhist form of life, or sacrifice and not desiring anything. The other night, I heard the Dali Lama, on TV say, “I keep my expectations low; that way at the end of my life I will have no regret.” This was disappointing to me, certainly retreats are valuable time to just be with yourself; don’t go on a group retreat—I call that camping. But when you listen to Abraham, and I know from Mysticism studies that the purpose of the experience we are having here, is to immerse ourselves in matter; bring ourselves to a very high order of control. No other entity has been this immersed in matter and probably no other will reach the same level in the scheme of evolution.

Intention seems to say this is what I want to do and I will make an attempt at doing that. I don’t like the word, because it isn’t quite right. I want to do it and I want to know that I will bring my manifestation to come to pass. What is the formula? I don’t care who is trying to teach belief, it is the hardest thing in the world because we all do it internally. In the Bible, in Luke 18:42 Jesus said: Receive thy sight: thy faith hath made thee whole; the essence of manifestation—faith—belief, “a thought that you practice often enough that you believe it”. That feels good!

What do you call Happiness?

excitementShakespeare said, “a rose is a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” This of course implies that no matter what I call it, or what you call it, the intrinsic nature is unchanged. We don’t control the rose just what we call it. There is, of course, many interpretations about this part of the soliloquy, from Romeo and Juliet; none more confusing than a reference to the facilities at the Rose Theater, which was in competition with The Globe Theater. When I hear people teaching the law of attraction and when we are talking to each other, it is important that we understand the words, metaphors, definitions, and idioms common in daily speech; otherwise we might as well meditate and come up with the essence of life on our own. Not a bad idea, in actuality we do know—from which we have come; we just don’t realize it, so much, to keep us grounded in this world.

I was reading a book about making money and enjoying life not working so hard. The author posed the question, as to whether we want things and money so we can be happy? He also pointed out that the filthy rich are really the walking dead. It is about this allowing too much of a good thing; you become fixated on something that can’t help you create value or quality of life. The best meals are the ones that quench starvation, not the ones that make you ask yourself —”should I have eaten that?” His point was, what we really crave is to be engaged and excited. In my case the rose (being happy), is suddenly better defined—by a different name—excited.

It is more correct for me to think of excited as the state I want to be in. I like adventure and I like new things and new discovery living on the edge where life is constantly trying to throw me off balance, contrast is how Abraham or Ester express it. That is exciting engaged—my kind of happy. I could never quite get to the cheerleader kind of happy, and I hope that is a true state for those people, very nice to be made happy in all of life’s moments, which is ideal.

The teachings of the east always intrigued me and I lived in Asia and I also studied their religions. What has stopped me, from listening to the eastern teachers, is that translations and words are not easy to determine, and the meanings I have for their words are not functionally equal. When I was in Asia I taught conversational English; I quickly came to the understanding that the form of English that someone learns is not a true deep level language that native speakers use.

I was often told, in my studies of mysticism that the things they do, in the east, are for an eastern body and the things that they do, in the west, are for a western body. After living in India I can tell you that they are definitely of a different mind than I am. There form of English originated from the British English and it is quite different. I had a fellow English teacher, from Great Britain, tell me that American English is a bastardized form of English.  If you can’t quite get there, move the meaning around or find something that excites you.

Free Form Manifestation Allowing to Allow

There is a lot of instruction in life and I suppose that is nice because the leading edge does extend itself as we project more and more. The problem that I have with instruction is that it comes with an identity of the one that is giving the instruction. If we are [...]

Why things don’t seem to go right!

What do I believe,
I believe that there is a lot of hype surrounding all of the Law of Attraction. I think this has always been a problem regarding inner secretes. Either you had to join a fraternity and swear that you would never tell anyone or you read endless books by people who [...]

Building Your Vision Board

The tombs of the Pharaoh’s were started when they were born and the interior of the tombs were inscribed or painted with their life story from beginning to end. Some have said that this is the first evidence of vision boards. I have read that their life’s story was completed before the life was [...]

The Junction of Words and Manifestations

One of the hardest things for me to grasp is this notion of not being able to talk or say words that convey what it is I want to manifest. First I needed to understand that whenever anyone speaks of words, from a spiritual standpoint, they are refereeing to the word of God which [...]
